10/10 As an Ethiopian person looking for Ethiopian restaurant, it’s really hard to find a restaurant that makes their food with love and intention like how your mom/family makes it. Most Ethiopian restaurants will put a lot of effort into the main dish, (like Tips, or Kitfo) but forget about the side/veggie dishes. But not this place, every dish is DELICIOUS , like ever! The OWNER is very nice and personable as well. This restaurant should go VIRAL! This is the top 2 best Ethiopian restaurant I have ever had in my WHOLE LIFE. DON’T WALK, RUN TO THIS RESTAURANT !!!!!!!

This place is Habesha-certified and has such great flavor!!! Family owned and very sweet staff. We always go for the all Teff Injera (small surcharge) but definitely try both so you can taste the difference... both are lovely! Best shared between a group to taste as many things as you can. Try the Bozena Shiro and the Geba Wota (lamb) if you can. Lastly, their homemade Tej (fermented honey wine) is bottled in small batches so they’re not always available but if they are you’re in luck!

This place was a wonderful surprise! We happened upon it because our first choice was closed due to a street fair; I am not overly familiar with Ethiopian food; my son had never eaten Ethiopian before: it kind of looks like a hole in the wall... BUT... The food was absolutely delicious! Very very fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be returning. We had the small size veggie sampler platter combined with a meat option that was steak tips with spices and peppers. We stuffed ourselves! The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. Our only regret is that we don't have larger stomachs.

My friend and I came in accidentally before they opened and they still seated and served us. First time trying this location. Great portions and very friendly staff. loved the presentation of the food! Definitely worth trying. Got the veggie combo for two and it was so much food that we both had plenty of left overs. (:

GET. THE. PLATTER. Lots of food, great value, perfect way to try everything out. I brought my father here who had never tried Ethiopian, and he really enjoyed it. Great place to bring folks new to the cuisine! We ordered the special combo platter (meats & vegs both) and could not have been happier! We're both big eaters, and we couldn't even come close to finishing everything.

Was here with three others tonight. That ordered meat meals including combo and I ordered the veg combo. This was their first time eating Ethiopian food though I have lots...but this was my first time here. The food was the most delicious I’ve ever tried. And I’ve eaten very delicious Ethiopian food at several restaurants in the Seattle area. The owners and staff here were also terrific...welcoming, patient with questions, and very kind. They genuinely cared. The place was busy yet the food came out fast and the Cabernet we had was also really good. I feel like this will be our go to place from now on. Thank you

The food here is amazing. The owner is super nice. The vibe is very happy and friendly and busy. I called to check they are open and they were super helpful on the phone. The owner was there seeing that guests were happy and also he and his sister are cooking the food as well and overseeing it all. The taste of the food is excellent. The portions are very big. One combo platter can feed 4 people if not 5! They can easily make it gluten free just specify. It’s also dairy free. They have vegan options as well as meat options.
